22 Jan 2024 marked a historical and big day in India. All eyes were on the city of Ayodhya on the inauguration of Ram Mandir. which has swipe up from domestic politics to Nation's identity on global state. It reflects the nation's culture and strategic move to strengthen "Bharat" in context of South Asian politics and international politics.

The northern state Uttar Pradesh has been in a long standing dispute over a mosque built in the 16th century by Mughal emperor Babur named Babri Masjid and Ram Janmabhoomi site. It became a symbol of religious tension between Hindu Muslim in India . As the mosque's location was believed by hindu to be the birthplace of lord Ram. Moreover the resolution of Ayodhya dispute ends cluminating 2019 Supreme Court verdict. Which favors Hindu with land for construction of Ram Mandir and maintained communal harmony by giving land to opposite community too.

The commitment to build the temple has been a key element for the ruling party BJP and its ideological partner Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Ayodhya is expected to become a major pilgrimage site attracting millions of devotees and tourists, good foster economic growth and infrastructure development.

The completion of Ram temple is full stop to the painful and violent history of Ayodhya. Now it is time to look forward and focus on future the Prime Minister also talked about it he said "Ram belong to everyone and New Era has begun", which signifies beginning of New Era with a new chapter a chapter of harmony and Unity to sharpe India as soft power.

Around 3 to 5 lakh visitors have arrived in Ayodhya which has a 2.5 million population, so upcoming days will be very busy for Ayodhya as the temple is officially opened for worship from 24th January. Authorities are expecting approximately more than 1 lakh devotees per day in future but the construction is not yet completed. The target is to finish it by the end of this year but the Pilgrimage will continue. A vibrant pilgrimage could be develop in Ayodhya might explicit proposal or step to position it as “Vatican City of India”.

The temple is expected to cost $ 225 million in a total 70 acre area. As I said, a new airport in Ayodhya, a whole City gate facelift, the railway station is also being upgraded and a massive township is also being built in Idea to attract new residents, the government is pumping investment in the City. State government calculated expected tax revenue around $ 3 million from this temple. Apart from emotion and religious sentiment this temple has immense potential. And you don't even have to promote it because the world already knows about it.

As we show massive events and celebrations on the same day, it shows significance on the global pilgrimage map. Story of lord Ram is pretty famous across Asia we have different version of Ramayana.Thailand has one though Cambodia, China, Myanmar, Indonesia and Vietnam they all have their own version of Ramayan like Northern Thailand has a city called “Ayutthaya” capital of ancient Kingdom many historical says it's Ram Ayodhya, even today the Thai king take name “Rama”. In Cambodia there is a temple dedicated to lord Vishnu named “Angkor Wat”, inside there you can find murals of Ramayan.

Wherever Indians went the Ramayan followed which spread his soty across the world like in Caribbean, Africa, Pacific Island Fiji and many more. All these lands are familiar with lord Ram in fact they celebrate top.

The inaugural ceremony attracts Western countries which are already in the top 5 tourist arrivals in India and also to attract Southeast Asian countries to India. Malaysia at number 9 and Thailand at number 11 other Southeast Asian states do not even feature in the top 20. Maybe the Ram temple could change this, as this people grew up listening to stories of lord Ram in their country. Why wouldn't they want to visit his birth place Ayodhya. The Government of India is already working over it as the unveiled “Ramayan Circuit” which link places like Ayodhya and other religious pilgrimages could excite visitors. Religious tourism plays a vital role in a country's GDP as people spend a lot of money on it like Saudi Arabia earns $20 billion from religious tourism which is expected to be $350 billion in the coming decade, so there is lots of money that could be made by India through religious tourism.

Nation's power projection is another implication of the temple internationally at geopolitical level, as the global community closely observes the development related to religious harmony. In fact, perception of religious bias could influence India’s diplomatic relations. Additionally neighbouring countries with significant Muslim majority populations might scrutinise India’s handling of religious diversity. Maintaining Nation's diplomatic ties on the global stage with neighbouring Muslim majority states will be a task for India.

About 100 foreign dignitaries were invited to the Ram temple, some of them carrying special messages for the country. Like Naor Gilon, Israel ambassador to India has posted pictures with replicas of Ram temple. The ambassador congratulated all Indians and also promised to visit the temple soon.

We could see India's influence over the globe as BAPS Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi will be inaugurated on 14 Feb 2024 by prime minister Modi. This shows the symbol of harmony and friendship between the two civilizations, a proud moment for the Indian community over there.

World realizes that India is a major power and in that context temples say a lot about it like its violent controversial history , architecture, concretion of temple, grand inaugural ceremony. Making India a proud secular country as we celebrate temple ceremonies as well as countries' diversity, the correct meaning of Ram Rajya, a kingdom of harmony, peace and righteousness.
